Two weeks old

I made another trip to the doctor yesterday to mark my two week birthday. I'm up to 6 lbs. 14 oz. which is still only the 5th-10th percentile for weight, but I'm growing a lot already. I've been awake more lately and I'm starting to get my days and nights straight which Mom and Dad are really happy about.

Dad has to go back to work on Monday, so it will be just me and mom for a while. We're going to have our first mother/daughter trip to the mall to shop for clothes! I need a new dress for Uncle Adam's wedding next weekend and so does Mom. Hopefully we can both find something cute...

Nice to Meet You...

Hi. I'm Katherine Taylor Weiland and I officially made my debut into the world on Friday May 7th at 7:10am, two weeks ahead of schedule.

I am 19" tall and weigh 6 lbs. 9 oz. Turns out I'm pretty little - only in the 5th percentile for weight and 25th for height. Looks like I might be short like Mom, but at least I'm very healthy, happy and super cute!

Check back for updates on my life, pictures of my adventures and some fun videos. Since I'm only a few days old, I'm going to focus on posting pictures for now, but I promise I'll get around to filling in the rest of the details once I can stay awake for more than 5 minutes at a time.
